Listed below are the teams hosted by MCYHA. If you aren't sure which team would be appropriate for your child's age and skill level, our coaches would be happy to visit with you!
2017-18 Learn to Play
The Learn to Play program is for beginners of all ages. This program is perfect for those who are interested in learning how to skate and the fundamentals of ice hockey. Kids are welcome to start at any age ... and the same goes for adults alike! We're excited to get you started learning the best sport in the world!
Coaches: Dustin Leidholt and Dennis Barlog
The Mite team is for boys and girls ages 8 & under. Travel is NOT required, but some optional out-of-town games may be scheduled. The Mite age level is a non-checking classification.
Head Coach: Barrie Matthews
The Squirt team is for boys and girls ages 10 & under. The Squirt age level is a non-checking classification.
Head Coach: Wacy Arndt
The Peewee team is for boys and girls ages 12 & under, and travel is required. The PeeWee group is a non-checking classification. The PeeWee team is a great age for skaters to begin competitive play, or to continue their growth in the hockey program.
Head Coach: Tyler Chapmon
The Girls team is for girls only aged 14 & under, and travel is required. The girls division is a non-checking classification.
Head Coach: Bob Wagner
The Bantam Team is for boys and girls ages 14 & under. This division is a checking classification, and travel is required. This is an exciting and competitive league, and it's the perfect way to spend the winter!
Head Coach: Rick Lang
The Adult Team is for men and women ages 18 & over. Players at any skill level are strongly encouraged to join. The adult league is a non-checking classification, and travel is not required (but optional!) Come out and check out our scrimmages!
